Happy New Year

It's a new year! 2008. Whenever a new year comes around, I always wonder what it will bring.
What will the world be like 365 days from now? What will I be doing? How will the events of the new year affect my family?
Will I be healthy? Will I be working? There are so many things I cannot control.
But there are things I can control.
Like what I eat. Exercise routines. Spiritual health.
Of course we all try to set "New Year's Resolutions"
This year for me is no exception... Except that I am determined to accomplish the goals I am setting.
So, in order to accomplish them, I'll list them here for the world to see. That way anyone reading this can help keep me on track.
So, here goes... Conrad Weaver's goals for 2008:
Personal:
1. Eat healthier. Eat a piece of fruit every day and more fresh vegies.
2. Exercise daily. Walk or work out for 30 minutes every day.
3. Exercise my brain...don't laugh...yes, my brain has gotten lazy...I will either read, write, or do a crossword puzzle daily.
4. Blog daily. Yeah, that's what I'm doing here...
5. Grow in my relationship with God. Connect with God daily through prayer, Scripture, or song.
Family
1. Have family devotions every week.
2. Spend more time with my kids.
3. Take the kids out one on one on a regular basis
4. Take my wife on regular dates.
Business
1. Become self-employed.
2. Add 10 real estate agents to my client list.
3. Join the Frederick Chamber of Commerce.
4. Win an Addy Award.
5. Launch the watchmetry.com site and make it profitable.
Ok that's it for now. See ya tomorrow.
Conrad
